Important
Wachr is built to monitor connected advertising accounts and send operational alerts. We only collect and use data needed to provide that service, secure the product, and manage workspace billing.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Wachr collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the product, connect advertising platforms, create workspaces, invite team members, configure alerts, or manage billing.
Wachr operates from Montevideo, Uruguay. By using Wachr, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use Wachr, we may collect:
- account information such as email, name, profile image, and workspace membership
- workspace configuration, alert rules, notification preferences, and operational activity
- connected advertising account identifiers, names, and monitoring-relevant metrics
- authentication and API tokens required to access connected providers on your behalf
- billing-related account and subscription state for the workspace
- support communications you send to us
We currently support Google Ads and TikTok Ads publicly. Meta Ads may be available only for allowlisted private beta workspaces.
3. How we use data
We use data to operate Wachr and provide the monitoring service you requested, including to:
- authenticate users and maintain workspace access
- list available ad accounts and allow you to select what to monitor
- evaluate alert rules against connected account metrics
- send notifications through configured channels such as in-app, email, and Slack
- support billing, subscriptions, refunds, and workspace access control
- maintain product security, investigate abuse, and diagnose operational issues
We do not sell your data, and we do not use connected ad account data to serve advertising.
5. Billing and payment data
Billing for paid workspaces is handled through Polar. Polar acts as the merchant of record for subscription purchases, invoices, receipts, cancellations, payment methods, and related payment operations.
Wachr may store and process billing-related information such as:
- workspace subscription status
- plan code, billing cycle, and billing timestamps
- Polar customer and subscription identifiers
- billing contact metadata returned by Polar
Wachr does not publish or intentionally store full payment card numbers. Payment methods and invoices are managed through Polar’s billing surfaces.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain account, workspace, alert, and billing data for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, support billing records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may disconnect ad platforms, cancel a paid workspace, or request account deletion through the product features that are available at the time or by contacting support@wachr.app.
When a connected platform is removed, Wachr stops using that provider connection for monitoring. Some operational, security, workspace, or billing records may remain where necessary for legitimate business and compliance purposes.
7. Your choices and controls
You may be able to:
- review and update account information inside Wachr
- disconnect advertising platforms
- change notification preferences
- cancel a workspace subscription through Polar
- request deletion or support help through support channels
If you revoke Wachr’s access directly from a provider account, such as Google account permissions, Wachr may lose the ability to monitor the affected workspace until the integration is reconnected.
8. Google API Services disclosure
Wachr’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We use Google Ads data only to provide workspace monitoring, alerting, and related operational features.
- We do not use Google API data to serve ads.
- We do not sell Google API data.
- We do not transfer Google API data to third parties except as required to operate Wachr, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.
9. Connected platform compliance
Wachr is designed to work within the rules of the platforms it connects to. When you connect Google Ads, TikTok Ads, or Meta Ads private beta, you remain responsible for complying with the applicable provider terms and policies.
Wachr uses connected advertising platform data to read account and monitoring-relevant campaign performance signals. The product is not intended to create, modify, pause, or delete your campaigns as part of its core monitoring workflow.
